Home renovation professionals and builders must lead the way when it comes to creating living spaces that are in demand. Incorporating universal and age-friendly design into residential construction projects results in homes and dwellings designed and constructed to accommodate the diversity of age and ability. Accessible homes will better meet the changing needs of our aging society.

Becoming an Accessibility Professional will set you apart from the competition.  The designation is available only for members of the Ontario Home Builders’ Association that successfully complete the online training.

Training is available online through four full-day introductory-level accessibility training divided into four modules: each addressing key topics with regards to accessibly housing.

Through this webinar series attendees will gain valuable information and design advice on creating accessible, sustainable and affordable housing options for aging Canadians to enjoy.

Through our partnership with Accessibility Advantage, the Accessibility Professional ™ designation will set you apart from the completion in this emerging field.
