OHBA is an active association comprised of an Executive Committee, Board of Directors, committees and councils. OHBA employs staff, but the backbone of the association comes from its members and volunteers. It has been said that an association is only as good as its volunteers. OHBA is Ontario home builders’ association and one way to get involved and be part of the decisions being made is to sit on one of OHBA’s standing committees.
The various standing committees each have different mandates and objectives, but they have all been established to serve our membership as specific needs were identified. Every OHBA member is invited to join and participate on any of the following committees.

CLIMATE CHANGE COUNCIL
This council provides a progressive forum for builders, renovators to learn about new energy efficient technologies, programs, and regulations that affects the industry. These sessions equip builders and renovators, who can inform customers, allowing them to make informed decisions to fight climate change.
The council holds regular events/webinars led by Enbridge Gas Distribution, HydroOne, Union Gas and features a different guest speaker.
